Number 8 withdrawn in tribute to Britton

Photo - Derek CleggRichard Britton’s famous number 8 will not be used in the classes Richard rode in during the 2006 Irish Road Race season.

The number 8 was synonymous with Richard throughout his career, and as a mark of respect it has been withdrawn in Ireland for this season.
