Macau

Enniskillen rider Richard Britton ended up 15th fastest for Saturdays 38th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix in Fridays final qualifying on board the GSXR 1000CC O'Kane Suzuki.
And it was not the result that the ever popular Britton would have liked, but at least he will start in the third row of the grid along side Lusk’s Martin Finnegan (14th) and Team mate Stephen Thompson (13th).

" There are a lot of good riders here this year on equally good machinery. It’s probably one of the best fields at Macau for many years. So little is between the top ten that it’s anyone's guess as to who will win tomorrow, but I still think that Michael Rutter will do the business on the Red Bull Honda". I said before I came out here this year that I am out to enjoy myself and that's how I will tackle the race. With Martin and Stephen along side me on the grid, it should be good fun. Looks like there will be a wee Irish Road Race on the cards between us three" said Richard.
