Richard Britton will contest the 51st Macau Grand Prix on November 20th on the PJ O'Kane Suzuki, which could be Britton’s last ride under the Team Green Banner of PJ O'Kane.

Patsy O'Kane, who has backed Britton since 2000, and who curtailed his sponsorship package with Britton to just the 1000 Suzuki Superbike in 2004, has hinted of retiring from business and from the sport in 2005.

O'Kane, who has one of Irelands largest haulage fleets in Garvagh Co-L'Derry, wants to take it easier next year and spend a bit of his time with his family and enjoy life a little.

"I am not quite sure what to do in 2005. I just can not keep going on and on year in year out" said O'Kane. Also, when you look at all the racing that my bike got this year it was hardly worth it. Something has got to be done to make it more attractive for sponsors, riders, and the paying public. What we have at the moment is just not good enough. I have yet to decide fully on what I will do in 2005, but it is most likely that I will call it a day. If and when that time arrives, I will deliver a statement to that effect" concluded O'Kane.
