Britton heads to Mid Antrim 150

Enniskillen’s Richard Britton heads of to the Mid Antrim 150 this weekend were the popular rider had plenty to smile about at the same meeting last year.

Fresh from his win in the Grand Final at the Faugheen Road Races last weekend, Britton is confident that his luck is about to chance and he is hoping for a problem free run around the 4 mile Clough circuit.

Now that Britton has finally got the problem with the Superbike sorted out, he should again be at the fore in the big bike races.
Last year, both he a Ryan Farquhar had a brace of wins at this venue with these two dominating the days racing.

Richard goes in the 600 and Superbike races on the Honda and big Suzuki.

" This is all about getting geared up for the Ulster Grand Prix. The Mid Antrim lets you get your last chance to sort the bikes out. I have had a couple of good years recently at the Mid Antrim and it is one of my favourite National meetings. Its run well by a very good Club" said Britton.

Richard will not be competing in the 250 races as he has done the last couple of years. "I would love a run out again on a 250 so if anyone has one bring her along and I will try and get out with the rest of the boys".
