Richard Britton TT Practice
Enniskillen rider Richard Britton has taken to this years Isle of Man TT Practice like a duck to water, with the popular 32 year old notching up his fastest ever practice times at the tt on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Britton managed 4th fastest time in Mondays Formula One Practice with a fastest lap of 121.46mph on Patsy O'Kanes 1000 Suzuki. In the Production session, Britton took second fastest lap of the evening with 118.03mph on the John Harris backed 600 Honda, before taking out the DMR 600 Honda in the Supersport session where he took 6th fastest lap at 118.16mph.
On Tuesday night, Britton took out the Production 1000 Suzuki in the first session and was 6th fastest at 119.94mph. In the Lightweight 400 practice, Britton again should what he can do by taking second sport behind John McGuinness, albeit ten seconds slower at 108.14mph.
But Britton's best practice session of the week came in the Junior 600 session on Tuesday night when he lapped at 120.70mph to take second fastest time again behind McGuinness.
" All the bikes are going extremely well" said Richard. I have no complaints about any of them. There are wee bits and pieces that need changing, but overall everything is fine. Normally I don't get a good run in Practice but this past two night have been really good. There is still more to come from the big bike and the DMR 600, so I am feeling really good at the moment".
