'Tandragee 100'

Suzuki mounted Richard Britton scorched to a fantastic double of Superbike wins at Tandragee on Saturday when the 32 year old father of one, set a new absolute course record when he lapped at 3m 03.729 seconds, 104.706mph in his ride in the feature race of the day for the Tandragee 100.

TANDRAGEE 100 OPEN RACE.
Riding the PJ O'Kane Transport Suzuki, Britton blasted into the lead on lap seven of ten after overhauling Martin Finnegan who retired with engine problems. Britton upped the pace on lap eight and set the new lap record for the circuit with Darren Lindsay a further 18 seconds behind and New Zealander Bruce Anstey third.

250/OPEN SENIOR RACE
This race was run in two parts after an earlier accident on lap five called a halt to the race. Britton who was riding the PJ O'Kane Suzuki, had a seven second lead when the race was stopped from Anstey and Maguire. On the restart over four laps of the 5.1 mile Co-Armagh circuit, Britton again blasted into the lead with Anstey and Maguire now 7.9 seconds adrift of Britton. He crossed the line with ease and had the fastest lap of 102.473mph.

TREVOR WADE 600 SUPERSPORT RACE.
This was a cracking race with Britton, Lindsay and Finnegan involved in a three rider battle at the front. Britton took the early race lead with Lindsay hooked on his tail and Finnegan behind Lindsay. Britton on his 600 Honda kept the lead for the most of the 6 lap race before Lindsay out gunned the Enniskillen rider in a dash for the line with Lindsay just getting the verdict. Britton took second place just 0.528 seconds behind Darren Lindsay while Finnegan filled the third place a further 7.01 seconds behind Britton.
