Mondello Park Testing
Richard Britton spent the most of Sunday at the Mondello Park track in Naas on Sunday along with Team Suzuki rider John Reynolds who completed four laps of the Co-Kildare circuit prior to today's Irish Superbike race meeting.
Britton along with Reynolds, spent the most of the day in the company of Ulster Television who were doing a preview of the Britton Rizla Suzuki deal to ride at this years North West 200.
Britton, will travel to England on Tuesday along with his two 600 Hondas and the O'Kane Transport 1000cc Suzuki to Frank Rathells to have the bikes dyno jetted before this weekends Cookstown 100 races.
Speaking in preparation of this Saturdays races, Britton is hinting that he will not be in full race mode for the Co Tyrone event. Richard Britton: "I don't rate the Cookstown circuit as my favourite and I will not be sticking my neck out next Saturday. I have other more important things on my mind at the moment and I make no excuses, that I am not going to put my Superbike ride at the North West in jeopardy. I just hope that the current weather improves greatly as it was like a winters day today at Mondello. I will possibly ride the 600 Supersport Honda at Cookstown as I have yet to ride the Superbike this year yet. However, if it is dry, I will ride the big bike. Don't be expecting any fireworks at Cookstown" said Richard.
